October 12-17

This week we will finish the first part of our social justice unit, looking at the way writers use literature to create social change -- in ways that challenge stereotypes and unquestioned norms.

      • Assignment and permission form distributed on Tuesday October 12; PDF of play posted to blog.
      • Parent notification and permission form returned by Wednesday October 28
      • Extra credit help session, after school in room 303 on Thursday October 29th
      • 10 complete dialectical journals submitted to Turnitin.com by 10 pm on Monday November 2
      • Reading or writing assessment during X-Block on Wednesday November 4th. If students cannot attend the assessment on the 28th, they must make alternate arrangements with their teacher by Wednesday October 28th.
