RECENT DOCUMENTS

  • Works Cited -- use this template for formatting.  And then use the following information for how to build your citations.
    • For your informational texts -- use EasyBib for your informational source.
      1. Open your reading list and copy the URL from your reading list.  Copy into the citation maker and click CONTINUE
      2. BUT you need to check to see if it caught all the information; it often leaves off the AUTHOR and PUBLICATION DATE, which are usually provided on professional sources such as the New York Times and Washington Post.  So check the source one more time and enter this information by hand on the second screen.
      3. Then click CREATE CITATION
      4. Copy and paste the citation to the end of your essay and use the formatting template above.
    • For your literary texts that you pulled from the blog or from class handouts, use the following basic structure for your literature:
Hughes, Langston. "Mother to Son." Class Resource.
  • Turnitin Instructions -- submit by 10pm Thursday night. Complete your formatting in Microsoft Word and then upload the Word doc to Turnitin.  Only submit once per group.
