Weeks 0-1: January 5-13

This semester, we will use a monthly calendar instead of weekly ones.  
That, I hope, I will help you make long-range plans for the research projects and parallels
Check the calendar for upcoming due dates (bolded) and class activities (not bolded).
NOTES ON UPCOMING DUE DATES 
(these notes are in comments on the monthly calendar as well) --

  • Vocab.com Assignment due on Friday 1/23 by midnight -- Choose the list for the book you are reading and work on exercises until you reach 85% on mastery. If you do not see the list under your assignments, search for one of the following lists:
    • Half-Broke Horses 1_Bowen
    • The Other Wes Moore 1_Bowen
    • Where Men Win Glory 1_Bowen
    • Brain on Fire 1_Bowen
  • Research assignments -- I moved the trend brainstorming assignment from Tuesday to Wednesday because of Monday's snow day.  You might want to work on it from home since the Interview and Secondary Research Plan assignment remains due on Thursday
