- HOMEWORK: finish Vocab Completing the Sentence; read the first two scenes of Act II (pages 71-84 of the large book, between Edward, Lydian and Thoreau and between Thoreau and Henry Williams, an escaped slave) -- notice how the relationship between Lydian, Edward and Thoreau has changed in Emerson's absence.
