Printmaking FRQ - With this time periods's three different printmakers -- each artist with an innovative approach and styles, it is a good chance to see how artists adapt different approaches to the limitations and affordances of the printmaking process to achieve their own artistic visions. Choose at least three of the artists below to research their printmaking process and artistic vision. Look at each artist's approach to the technical printmaking practices as an expression of the artist's purpose, aesthetics and vision. Then compare the three artists to one another to understand how artists undertake the creative process with technical limitations.
Use the following resources to review and consider each artist's piece on the 250 as representative of their larger bodies of work.
