Composition EOCT. All the passages will either be pieces of American literature or pieces
about American literature.

Review Opportunity:
You may complete the review activities for one of the following domains to replace a reading quiz or vocab quiz.  There are three steps, and all three steps must be completed by Sunday April 27 at 7 pm -- you will need to email your notes to me, and complete the USATestPrep by 7:
  1. Read the review materials for the domain you select to review, documents are linked below
  2. Take notes on the documents; choose ONE of the following methods
    • Make 20 flash cards (on index cards or using quizlet)
    • OR Print the document and annotate for important terms -- in the margins, summarize and rephrase information in your own words
    • OR Take at least a page of notes to record important terms
  3. Take USATestPrep benchmark test for the domain
    • If you have an account with USATestPrep, log in here using Account ID: pope
    • If you do not have an account with USATestPrep, create one here using Account ID: pope and Password: newton21
    • Choose the button "Take a Benchmark" on the right side and enter the code for the domain you selected (listed below)
    • For teacher, choose Krista Bowen -- after you take the benchmark, it will report the scores to me directly so there is no need to print the report

Please email me freely with your comments and questions at krista.bowen@cobbk12.org. Although the school does provide me with voicemail, I have access to email much more readily. Please extend me the courtesy of one or two days’ time to respond. I also encourage students to speak with me directly as I will typically coordinate with students to handle resolutions.
